Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. It is DS Eco Cleaning Services\' policy to strictly enforce its Terms of Agreement in the event of any dispute.

1. About this Contract
1.1 Our Terms and Conditions represent a contract. This contract is made between DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited and the Client.
1.2 You agree that any use of the services provided by DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited  shall constitute your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
1.3 An introduction of a cleaner shall be deemed to have taken place when DS Eco CLeaning Services Limited provides any details to the Client relating to a cleaner.

2. The Service
2.1 DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited acts solely as an introductory agency between clients and cleaners.
2.2 If the cleaner leaves or the client is not happy with the standard of service provided by the cleaner, we will endeavour to find a replacement cleaner as soon as possible, normally within 5 working days.
2.3 We will make every effort to provide a temporary cleaner in the event of sickness or holiday.
2.4 All of our cleaners undergo an induction training course prior to commencing any service with you.
2.5 We will interview and obtain references for every cleaner representing the company.
2.6 Cleaners must provide us with a copy of their passport or driver\'s license as well as a proof of permanent address.

3. The fees
3.1 Agency fees are payable by the client monthly in advance by Standing Order,Cheque payable to DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited or Cash. These will be paid every 28 days.
3.2 An invoice is payable immediately upon receipt.
3.3 Standing orders must be returned within 5 days of the client having agreed to DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited supplying a cleaner.
3.4 Clients that have used DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited service and failed to send a standing order back within the first 28 day period will be invoiced at the prevailing rate of £12.50 per hour for the hours that a cleaner has attended the premises. The difference will be refunded once we have a standing order in place.
3.5 No service will be provided until we have received the standing order mandate after the first 28 days of service.
3.6 If a cleaner is solicited to work for the client with the intention of bypassing the agency fees then the client will be invoiced a one off fee of £500.00
3.7 20% VAT wil be added to final invoice by DS Eco Cleaning Ltd.
3.8 Any rate increase will be notified to all customers giving at least 14 days notice.

4. Cancellations
4.1 We require a minimum of 30 days written notice for cancellation of the service.
4.2.1 Refunds will not be given for any advanced payment made in the event of cancellation.
4.2.2 In the event that a cleaner travels to the client\'s house on the designated day and the client is not in or the cleaner cannot gain entry to the property the client shall be liable for the cleaner\\\'s travelling cost.
4.2.3 Clients must give DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited a minimum of 10 Days notice if they are going to be away on holidays or business. Failure to do this will mean that no refund will be given for the agency fees.
4.2.4 Clients must give a minimum of 10 Days notice if they wish to change the day that their property is cleaned.
4.2.5 It is the clients’ responsibility to cancel or amend the standing order mandate with their bankers, as DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited is unable to cancel or amend standing orders.
4.2.6 It is the client’s responsibility to inform the agency if service is not required during Bank holidays i.e. Easter.
4.2.7 No service will be provided on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

5. Amendments
5.1 DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited reserves the right to introduce supplementary terms. You will have been deemed to have accepted any amendments if the company does not receive any representations within a period of 30 days from the notification date.

6. Supplementary Terms
6.1 We do not employ the cleaners, you employ them. At all times the cleaner will be under the client\'s supervision and responsibility.
6.2 Cleaners will be responsible for the replacement costs incurred in the unlikely event of the client\'s keys being lost.
6.3 The client is responsible for supplying cleaning materials and equipments in addition to making arrangements for access to the client\'s home.
6.4 We make every effort to ensure the quality of cleaners that we introduce. However no responsibility will be accepted by the company as a result of a failure, in any part of the selection procedure irrespective of the reason.
6.5 Cleaners are not permitted to use bleach; therefore any use of bleaching agents on the property is at the clients\' own risk.
6.6 Cleaners will not perform any deep clean or specialized cleaning of any antique, delicate or valuable items.
6.7 Any incidental costs incurred by the company or cleaners as a result of a client\\\'s action will be fully reimbursed by the client immediately.
6.8 Clients will not solicit or entice cleaners that have been introduced by DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited to work for them directly within 6 months of the first introduction or after cancelling their monthly contract with DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited.

7. Insurance
7.1 DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited has public and employee liability insurance for a minimum of £10 million, which protects the client\'s home against major accidental damage caused by a cleaner whilst on your property. All claims must be notified within 24 hours of discovery.
7.2 We cover for damages over £100.
7.3 Client is responsible for the first £100 of any claim.
7.4 The Insurance cover is only valid once agreement is signed and the payment received.

8. Complaints Procedure
8.1 All complaints must be received in writing, emails are acceptable.
8.2 We promise that on receiving a complaint we will respond within 14 days.
8.3 We promise to have fully investigated the complaint within 28 days of receiving a formal written complaint.
8.4 We promise that if no solution can be found to the complaint raised that we will be happy to take the matter to an independent arbitrator whose decision will be final and binding on both parties.
8.5 Service cost is £10.00 per hour per cleaner and is subject to signing a Cleaning Service Agreement with DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited. Minimum of 2.5 hours per cleaning visit applies. Customer agrees to provide a list of tasks and all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with DS Eco Cleaning Services Limited. All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.

Mid and Long-Term Contracts – Covering all of the Greater London Area

Our ‘House Maid Service’ is available to you 7 days a week, allowing you to decide when is the best time for you. Our staff are as helpful and flexible as possible, so in addition to carrying standard cleaning duties,  laundry and ironing can be included. Our cleaners are also able to do one-off tasks by arrangement.

Cleaning Rates

For standard residential cleaning, our rates start from £10.00/hour subject to a minimum of 2.5hrs/week or 3 hours/fortnight

Cleaning rates do not include cleaning materials. We will provide our own cleaning materials, which we have workd hard to create and which are ecologically friendly, for a basic charge which would be agreed at the beginning of any contract. Because we are able to use these cleaning products in bulk, we are able to reduce the cost and pass this on to our clients. However, we alre also aware that some of our clients have certain preferences, so we are happy to use alternative cleaning products if requested.

One off Domestic and Spring Cleaning

If you don’t have a regular cleaner, every once in a while you know it would be great to have someone just go through your whole home, from top to bottom, and give it a thorough clean – allowing you to keep on top of the normal cleaning routine the rest of the time.

We also specialise in doing a thorough domestic clean for those who want to sell their home and want it presented at its best – making it easier to sell and for the best possible price.

At DS Eco Cleaning Services there is nothing we enjoy more than doing a thorough Spring clean of our clients’ homes as we know the difference it can make, and the satisfaction it gives.

Cleaning Rates

Our hourly rate for a thorough, one off clean,start at £13.00/hour per person. We will provide all cleaning products and equipment. The minimum number of hours charged for a major clean is 4 hours.

To add to our standard cleaning services, we have cleaners who are experienced and professionally trained to do carpet and upholstery cleaning, wood and laminate floor cleaning, natural stone and porcelain tile cleaning and restoration.

How do you select, check the background of and ensure the quality of your cleaners?

We receive around a hundred calls from prospective cleaners every week in response to our advertisements and all applicants are interviewed at our office to ensure their suitability. Any cleaners accepted onto our books are required to provide us with verifiable proof of identification (passport/full UK driving license), proof of address (utility bills or bank statement), immigration status (valid visa + work permit) and proof of experience and reliability (minimum of 2 references from previous employers or clients). We also assess levels of English, spoken and written, test cleaning tasks and give all new applicants in-house training, thus ensuring all our requirements and standards are met. Our clients’ happiness is paramount, therefore our screening process is thorough and only the best get through successfully.

Can I specify the day the cleaner comes?

Of course you can – we aim to be as accommodating as possible..

What is your hourly rate?

Our hourly rate starts from as little as £18 per hour for domestic regular cleaning and it starts from £23 per hour for one-off cleaning arrangements.

How long will it take you to find me a cleaner?

Owing to our stringent vetting process, we aim to provide clients with a suitable cleaner within 5 working days. Sometimes it may take a little longer, but we will always discuss the options with you.

What do I do if the cleaner doesn\'t turn up?

In the unlikely event of this happening, call us and we will arrange another cleaner as soon as we can.

What happens if the cleaner can\'t get in or I go away?

We rely on our clients to inform us of holidays, illness, etc. so that we can amend your account accordingly and rearrange cleaning schedules. We also endeavor to keep our clients up-to-date with staff schedules.

What happens if the cleaner lets us down?

This has yet to happen to a client, but we take nothing for granted. If this should ever happen we will resolve the problem as quickly as is humanly possible and ensure you are provided with a more reliable cleaner..

Who is responsible for providing the cleaning equipment and products?

Clients are expected to provide cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, iron etc. Most of our clients like to provide their own cleaning materials, though alternatively and as strong advocates of environmentally-friendly cleaning products, we can supply natural homemade cleaning materials. The hourly rate for regular cleaning with your cleaning products will start from £18, If we provide cleaning products, it will start from £21 per hour. One-off cleaning hourly rate starts from £23 (if cleaning products/equipment provided by you). We would recommend to book one-off cleaning with our cleaning products and equipment though, as it might be quite specific job.

What happens if I am dissatisfied with the service provided by the cleaner?

We are confident that this will not happen, but should problems arise, we will visit you to discuss where the problem is and we will then make every effort to find a replacement cleaner as soon as possible, normally within 5 working days.

Are there any restrictions placed on the cleaner with regards to what they will clean?

Yes. Our cleaners will not carry out any deep or specialised cleaning of antiques, delicate or valuable items, nor will they carry out exterior window cleaning unless it is on the ground floor.

Is there insurance cover for any damages done by the cleaner?

 Clients’ property is covered by our comprehensive public liability insurance policy, a copy of which is available on request. It covers major damage over £100 (e.g. damage to carpets or any objects) but it does not cover bleach spills as all of our cleaners are discouraged from using this product. 

Here at DS Eco Cleaning Services we may have a number of substantial contracts, but we are not a large and impersonal firm that employs just anybody and takes little interest in the cleaning projects our team members are involved in. We know that without you, we wouldn’t be able to do the work we do, so we know and understand how important you are for our business
